Ústí nad Orlicí is a district town of the Pardubice Region, situated at an altitude of 350 m, approximately 150 km from Prague. The town is situated at the confluence of Třebovka and Tichá Orlice. Usti nad Orlici is less than 30 km from Orlicke Mountains.
A popular tourist destination is the top of the hill Andrlův Chlum (559 m above sea level) with a mountain hut and a lookout tower. From the lookout tower is a beautiful view of the city and its surroundings.
